Tim is one of Jersey's most experienced and long serving conveyancers. Whilst dealing with all aspects of conveyancing, Tim has expertise in high value residency transactions and commercial and residential development work. He has worked on multiple high value landmark deals in Jersey, including the sale of the highest-priced private residence in Jersey history.
Background and experience
Tim began his career with Le Masurier, Giffard and Poch, which merged to become Ogier in 1995. In 1991 he moved to the conveyancing department of the states ('Autorisé de la Partie Publique') as Head of Conveyancing.
While as the head of Conveyancing Tim successfully:

transformed the working practices of the Authorise's Department, following Sir Godfray Le Quene's legal review, which listed serious concerns as to the Governance and management of that department

regained trust and respect of private law firms over several years after the legal review
Tim’s most memorable transaction is facilitating the transfer of ownership of Gorey and Elizabeth Castles by the Crown to the Public of the Island, while at the Law Officers' department.
